1. What is a print disability? List the three types of print disabilities described in this module and discuss how each might affect a student in the classroom.
A print disability is when a student cannot access text due their t learning difference. For an example students that have a visual impairment, physical disability that doesn't allow students to hold a book and a learning disabilities that conflict with rewritten text.
2. Describe three ways in which electronic text can be manipulated to help students to access core curriculum materials.
Students can have the story read to them from the computer and it can be a pace that will help them with the rate that they process the material. Student can also view the text in enlarged font or student can hear the text by pushing button on a command controller that dictates what part of the story they went to.

3. Imagine that you are Walker High School's Primary Contact for Bookshare. As such, what are your responsibilities? List and explain at least three.
I would need to scan and look of materials that I know that my students would need. I would also need to narrow my search by only finding things that would limit the student needs. As an educator I need to verify that students have a print disability. I would also need to have a organizational membership to the Book as well. This might require me to contact the district or principle, to make sure that I can submit the forms needed to BookShare.
4.As the Primary Contact for Walker High School, you have just been approached by Mrs. Scott, a tenth-grade English teacher. She states that two of her students with print disabilities have made great progress in her class, a fact she attributes to their use of Bookshare's digital materials. She thinks all of her students would benefit from Bookshare services and inquires about signing them up. As the Primary Contact, what would you tell her about qualifying for Bookshare services
Madeline, a new eleventh-grade student at Walker High School, has a severe learning disability and has just qualified for Bookshare's services. Madeline is currently reading at a sixth-grade level, which impairs her ability to access information from her textbooks.

a. I would expect her to use an electronic device that would allow her to hear the passage at her own speed at her own pace. Madeline may also use a text synehtizer that helps her her the passage to her while she can use the buttons to decide what parts of the story she want to hear. Since Madeline is a member of book share, she may also use the DASIY feature on the website because it allows students to manipulate the text by highlighting, hearing it or even changing the text of the book.
b. I would get a list of books that she will be studying over the semester, to prepare for what books she will need to download off of Bookshare. I would also seek any given training involved with Bookshare, If I have never used it then I would make sure I know how to download and receive materials. I would also scan through other materials that would help her understand her reading more. In order to Maximize Madeline's success, I would also make sure that she knows what features are on Bookshare so that she is familiar with it as well.
The WATI works with Wisconsin educators to allow them to use materials for any student that has an IEP. Teachers can create an account to uses at devices in our schools. There are various websites for all ages of children that were helpful to look at. Especially for younger children and the arts, Some of their resources with technology also looked helpful depending on what the student needed. Another resource on the website given was a calendar of dates that were helpful for training. Overall I thought this websites had many resources for teachers to get trained with AT, help students that need AT devices and other links that would be helpful.
